These Terms, specifically for employers, are in addition to the other generic Terms & Conditions listed on the page which are common to all the users of the site. Any violation of these T&Cs may result in an company or organization job posting being declined for publication on Encyclojobs.
Job posting T&Cs:
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are authorized to post job opportunities on your organization’s behalf. Any dispute or legal claim arising out of unauthorized posting would be solely your liability and you indemnify Encyclojobs of any and all possible consequences of such actions.
If you upload your organization’s logo while posting your Encyclojobs or creating/updating your company profile, you are authorizing Encyclojobs to display it on our website along with other job posts or in the list of our clients. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are duly authorized to share your organization logo with 3rd parties and allow them to use it.
Encyclojobs reserves the right to publish the job post of companies on social media handles like LinkedIn, Indeed etc, and newspapers in order to increase the visibility of the job opportunity .
You must provide accurate and complete details about the organization and the job opportunity– too brief or too vague a description of the organization, or job profile results in poor quality job post and hence may get declined. Any act of misinformation or hiding material information would result in your account being permanently blocked.
It is your responsibility to ensure that there is no material difference between the jobs details that are advertised on Encyclojobs and the details that are communicated to students/candidates later in the selection process.
If you come across any suspicious activity, content or behavior on Encyclojobs by a user, you must report it to Encyclojobs immediately so that necessary actions can be taken.
You can use the applicants’ data that you receive for your jobs solely for the purpose of hiring candidates. Any attempt to send any other communication (promotional content for example) to the applicants or any other usage of the data is strictly prohibited.
You are strictly prohibited from transferring/selling/sharing applicants’ data, for free or for a fee, to any other entity. Any such attempt would result in your account on Encyclojobs being permanently blocked and would be liable for legal action against you and your organization. We take our users’ data privacy and protection very seriously and have zero tolerance policy towards it.
Terms for students and candidates
These Terms are specifically for candidate users, are in addition to the other generic Terms & Conditions listed on the page which are common to all the users of the site. Any violation of these T&Cs may result in a candidate’s job application being declined or his/her account being permanently blocked.
If you have applied for an job opportunity on Encyclojobs and receive a communication from Encyclojobs or hiring organization regarding your application, you must respond to it with-in 7 days.
Once you accept an job offer, you must make every possible effort to join and start the job on time.
You must provide with accurate and complete information at the time of creating an account on Encyclojobs – any misrepresentation of information, or hiding of material information, or impersonation would result in your account being blocked on the site.
You must pay attention to an job’s complete details (profile, start date, location, duration, whether paid or unpaid, skills required etc.) before applying for it. Irrelevant applications will result in your account being penalized (we may stop you from applying to future jobs or block you account all together)

While we make our best efforts to bring you the best job opportunities possible, Encyclojobs does not guarantee an job to a student or candidate.

Further, we may share your personal information (including contact details) with candidates who apply to your jobs or get hired by you through Encyclojobs.
If you are an applicant, we may share your personal information with employers whose jobs you apply to or whose jobs we feel may be relevant for you or who may come across your profile through a search of our user base.
We may share your information with third party individuals, contractors, companies and other service providers that perform services on our behalf or in partnership with us. For example, we may require to pass on your data to a partner who might be responsible for the delivery of a training program that you may have voluntarily signed up for.
Additionally, you may have the option to share your information and activities on Encyclojobs through social media. We do not have control over information shared with third party social networks and you should review the policies of those networks before consenting to share information with them.

If you are a candidate, you may edit your personal information and profile by visiting your resume section. Certain data (such as applications you may have made) cannot be edited.
If you are an employer, you may edit your personal information and information about your organization by visiting the profile (personal details and organization details) section. Certain data (such as jobs you may post, applications you may have processed) cannot be edited.
For a user to receive our weekly newsletter, student/employer digests and/or any other marketing communication from us over email; Encyclojobs follows a double opt-in policy where after submitting your email address you need to verify it by clicking on a verification link that we would send to you over given email address. Until the email is verified, you would not receive the newsletter or any marketing communication from us.
Marketing/ Digests/ Newsletter: Every newsletter and promotional communication from Encyclojobs contains an 'Unsubscribe' link that you can click on to stop receiving any future newsletters and promotional content from us on your email.
